Invis was formed in January 2023 by Santino Salamone, Chris Gennaria, and Jacob Cannon in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
We played our first handful of shows around West Chester University, where we spent a lot of time and really began to develop our sound.
Most of 2024 was dedicated to writing, refining, and expanding our catalog while exploring new musical directions. It was also during this time that we met our drummer, Will Collins, who became an important part of the band's evolution.
In our early years, we drew a lot of inspiration from bands like Black Sabbath and early Led Zeppelin. Their music gave us a foundation and reminded us to stay true to the kind of rock we loved while pushing ourselves to create something that felt original. That balance has shaped the band we are today.
